Gravel Driveway Installation and Repair in Hot Springs, AR
New gravel drives, washed-out drives rebuilt, and culverts set so the water goes under the drive instead of through it.
A Driveway Is a Drainage Project
Most gravel driveways fail from water, not traffic. Rock placed on soft ground, with no crown and no place for runoff to go, washes out after a few hard rains. We build and repair drives around the grade first, then the rock.
New Gravel Driveways
We clear the route, cut and shape the subgrade, set the crown and side ditches, and place base rock with a top rock over it. The right rock depends on your soil, slope, and the traffic the drive has to carry. On new homesites we can clear the lot, build the drive, and prepare the house or building pad as one job.
Driveway Repair and Regrading
Potholes, ruts, washboard, soft spots, and washouts usually mean the shape is gone or water is running down the drive. We regrade to restore the crown, fix the drainage that caused the damage, and add rock only where the base needs it. More rock on a bad shape is a short fix.
Culverts Under the Drive
We install and replace driveway culverts. Where a driveway crosses a ditch, creek, or low spot, a culvert carries the water under the drive. Pipe size, depth, cover, and protected ends all matter. If the drive meets a county or state road, that entrance may need approval from the road department, so ask before the work starts. We will help you ask the right questions.
Steep, Rocky, and Wooded Lots
Hillside lots around Hot Springs, Hot Springs Village, and Jessieville bring rock, grade, and runoff into every driveway. Steep drives need water turned off the surface often, and tight wooded lots need a route that saves the trees you want. We plan that on the ground, not from a map.
Driveways in Hot Springs Village
Hot Springs Village is our home base. If your lot is inside the Village, check the POA's requirements before work begins. We build to the approved plan.
What Changes the Price
Length and width, the condition of the existing base, how much cut and fill the route needs, rock type and depth, culverts, clearing, and truck access for rock delivery all change the price. We measure and state our assumptions in the estimate.
Two Ways to Get a Price
Free Estimate. Send us photos or video of the property and tell us what you want done. We talk it through by phone (video call available), then text or email you a rough estimate. There is no charge.

Gravel Driveways FAQ
It depends on length, width, the base under it, rock depth, drainage, culverts, and access for rock trucks. Send us photos for a free estimate, or book a site visit for a firm quote.
A shaped subgrade with a crown and a place for water to leave, then a base rock, then a top rock. Skipping the base or the drainage is why many drives wash out.
If the drive crosses a ditch, a drainage path, or a low spot that carries water, usually yes. Pipe size depends on the site and any permit requirements.
Usually. The repair has to fix the water, not only refill the rut. We look at crown, slope, ditches, culverts, and where runoff enters the drive.
A good base and working drainage make the biggest difference. Plan on an occasional regrade and fresh top rock as it wears.
